Hi there!

I'm Abbey Sandberg, welcome to Oliveberry. 

Professionally, I am a photographer and photo retoucher with more than a decade of industry experience. After earning my BFA in Advertising Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, I began my career in Manhattan, assisting at various photography studios and production/retouching houses. During that time, I gained invaluable insight into the photography and advertising world, working on numerous creative campaigns for a wide range of clients.

My background in production makes me deeply deadline-driven, yet I remain a creative soul at heart. Having worked across every stage of a campaign—from pre- to post-production—I bring a unique ability to step back and see the bigger picture.

I built this site to showcase my retouching portfolio, with the hope of continually adding personal projects along the way. I still love shooting on my own and experimenting with photo transfers and paintings of my work.

On a personal note, I’m a Frasier enthusiast, occasional runner, amateur baker, dog loving optimist. I happily reside in Pittsburgh with my sons and our two dogs, Daphne and Roz. Our hearts also carry the memory of our sweet Aussie Shepherd, Olive (photographed below). We are forever grateful for the short decade we were able to share with such a magnificent and loving companion.
